Project Success Stories: Compass Arts

Based in Eastbourne, Compass Arts is an intergenerational, co-creative, artist led organisation for anyone vulnerable to social isolation, lived trauma, mental illness and hidden disabilities.

Their Grow Grant-supported project from June 2022 focused on building on existing work to turn pop-up studio spaces into permanent installations, and provide new pop-ups in further locations, with the aim of expanding the provision the project provides to the local arts community. This included lead artists based at each studio, a free international university initiative, poetry slams, an arts festival, and work in partnership with other local projects and groups.
